I want to register the object which size even in converting and archiving greatly exceeds the limit. (For example, source website template in .psd format or audio project Qbase etc.)

Contact our personnel via support service in your Personal Account, and we will provide you a separate mode of uploading the object for registration and explain you how the process will be carried out.

What should I do if I have found a precedent for illegal use of my intellectual property?

First you should report about detected fact of violation to our employees in one of the following ways:

  1. Write to the address protect@ipb.com an e-mail with a detailed description of the situation
  2. Reach our employee on Slype, 'bankprav' account.
  3. Use the feedback form in the 'Contact us' section to describe your problem and wait for the response from our manager.

Our personnel will work on a resolution of this issue.

What should I do if my object size exceeds the size, allowed for registration?

Please, use the archiver, and after processing register uploaded archive, properly specifying the type of the object.

After archiving the object still weighs more than 40 megabytes.

If the type of your object is graphics or video, try to register it by saving it in another format or downscale it`s resolution using the applicable software. As for audio files, we recommend you to reduce their bitrate and convert them to mp3 format. Even if you have changed the characteristics of your object, but saved its contents, it still has the hallmarks of your authorship and it is suitable for registration.

Can I cancel the object registration entry in the registry?

Yes, the author just needs to inform the administrator about his/her wish to terminate the deposit of his/her object in any possible way, for example through Support service in Personal Account. Previously paid money shall not be refunded in this case. Re-registration is performed in the same order as the primary one.

What do I have to do to get the hard copy of the registration certificate? For example, if I need it to submit to the Court as an evidence.

Please, contact our administrator in advance to inform us on the need to prepare a hard copy of the document, and indicate your mailing address. A paper copy of your Certificate will be sent to you by the regular mail. The mailing costs should be prepaid. But, please, be sure that our electronic Certificate which is signed with cryptographic digital signature may be used equal to a hard copy.

I am a composer and I want to register my Artwork in the registry of Russian Authors Society (RAS), but I have not concluded the Agreement with it. Can I register my copyrighted works through the Copyright Bank in RAS's registry?

Yes, of course. We will carry out the procedure of conclusion of the agreement with RAS on your behalf, pay the entrance fee and register all the works you wish to be registered. In this case, the cost of services will be increased by the size of the entrance fee (it is compulsory according to the Terms and Conditions of RAS) and the cost of documents mailing. What happens when in the process of object's registration collaborators are introduced?

You make a voluntary act of recognizing collaborators. Specified collaborators will be sent relevant notice and their personal accounts will be automatically created. If they choose to register in the system BankPrav.ru, all collaborative objects will be already present in their personal registry.
